Club Info

The Pakuranga United Rugby Club is the biggest and fastest growing Rugby Club in Auckland. Formed in 1965, we are located in Lloyd Elsmore Park in Auckland's Eastern Suburbs.

We are home to ten Senior teams and over fifty Nursery, Junior and Intermediate teams during the winter. In the summer the Club has a Sevens team and runs an annual Sevens Tournament every year.

The Club has enjoyed recent Senior Rugby success at all levels including winning the Waka Nathan Challenge Cup in 2011 and the Auckland Club Sevens in 2010. Our Junior teams continue to build players for the future and the Club recently added another Junior Championship to its total in the 2010 U13 Restricted grade. The Club also runs one of the biggest Summer Touch modules in Auckland.

The Club boasts state of the art training and playing facilities. Our main ground is Bell Park, we also have access to four full fields on Lloyd Elsmore Park and two other fields located around Pakuranga.

The Club currently has eleven changing rooms, two referee rooms and two medical rooms.  In addition the Club has three modern function rooms including the best facility for viewing Club Rugby in Auckland “The Dufty Bell Lounge” all of which can be hired.
