Representative Results - Saturday 24 August 2019

Both Under 19s teams came away with victories on Saturday in the second round of qualifying matches ahead of the Jock Hobbs National Under 19 Tournament in early September.

While the As came away with a relatively comfortable victory in the far North, the Development side were forced to go to work throughout the 80 minutes against North Harbour.

There was an internal battle of sorts in the Northern Region B competition with the Auckland Bs and Colts going head-to-head. It was the Colts that regained bragging rights from their counterparts for the year with the Colts now set-up for a tilt at the overall competition title.

The Under 85s travelled down to Paeroa to take on an open-weight Thames Valley Development side. Despite leading at the break, the 85s were unable to hold-on, and were seemingly overwhelemed through the second stanza.
