The U19A side fell short in their quest against Canterbury in the Graham Mourie Cup Final

It was a topsy-turvy weekend of representative footy with mixed results across the different teams and grades.

The Bs were emphatic in their victory over Taranaki at home and now only need to get the win over Counties Manukau this coming weekend to claim yet another Northern Region title.

The Colts did it tough in Whakatane against the Bay of Plenty B side. The travel and power of 'The Bay' proved to be too much to handle for the Auckland side who found themselves outgunned by the end of the 80-minutes.

The Under 85s have given themselves a real shot at a title of their own with a tough fought win over the open-weight King Country Development team.

The Under 19s were unable to finish off their tournament week with victories.

The Development team were involved in the 7th/8th play-off match with Waikato who shot out to an emphatic lead at the halftime break, leaving too much to do for Auckland in only 35-minutes.

The U19A team fell short against the red and blacks of Canterbury in the Graham Mourie Cup Final. Despite falling behind at the half, Auckland came flying out of the blocks to pull within striking distance. However, missed opportunities proved to be their undoing with Canterbury clinical at the crucial moments to claim the 2019 title.
