Ofa Tu’ungafasi is an imposing character – standing at 1.95m and weighing 126kg.
He represented New Zealand at Under 17, School boy and Under 20 grades. Tu’ungafasi was the first player to be selected for the New Zealand secondary Schools team from a 1B school since All Black Keven Mealamu.
He had a stand out season for the Blues in 2015, securing a position in the starting line up throughout their campaign, which resulted in his inclusion in the June All Blacks camp.
He is joined by younger brother Isi in this year’s ITM Cup squad.
