Excitement for the Auckland Rugby 2024 club season continues to build as the 2024 Women's Premier Rugby season is now unveiled. Scheduled to begin on April 6th, the season promises an exciting showcase of talent and competition.

Defending champions Ponsonby Fillies prepare to defend their title against a field of challengers, including a Coleman Shield Grand Final re-match against the College Rifles T-Birds in Round 2. 

Additionally, the introduction of Eden and Papatoetoe to the grade from Auckland brings fresh energy and talent to the mix, promising to add new dynamics to the competition.

One of the most notable developments of the season is Karaka's inaugural Women's Premier team. With Karaka stepping onto the premier stage for the first time, anticipation is high to see how they will fare against established teams and what they'll bring to the table.

Taking a break for King's Birthday weekend, players and fans will have a chance to recharge before the Semi Finals on Matariki weekend. The culmination of the season, the Grand Final for the esteemed Coleman Shield, is set for July 6th.
