11 Auckland players will take part in the inaugural Brisbane 10s next weekend in Australia.

Representing the five New Zealand franchises, players will head to Brisbane for two days of competition against Australian franchises and teams representing Samoa, Toulon and the Panasonic Wild Knights.

Prop Sam Prattley is set to co-captain the Blues side which has six Auckland players in the mix including Marcel Renata and Pasqualle Dunn who have been brought into the squad for pre season training. All Black George Moala will make his return from injury at the 10s and is joined in the Blues back line by new recruit Jordan Trainor.

Leon Fukofuka will play for Crusaders, Vince Aso the Hurricanes and Greg Pleasants-Tate for the Highlanders.

Taleni Seu is joined in the Chiefs squad by winger Joe Ravouvou who has impressed in his pre season training for the Hamilton-based team.

The event kicks off next Saturday and will be played at Suncorp Stadium.
