2020 Mitre 10 Cup Draw Confirmed

New Zealand Rugby has confirmed the Mitre 10 Cup draw for the 2020 season. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the season will now officially commence on the 11th of September with our first game on the 12th against Otago at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

More afternoon rugby is on the cards with the introduction of an extra Sunday afternoon fixture in place of the Thursday evening slot.

The confirmed draw will bring plenty of exciting prospects for Auckland Rugby fans. The blue and white hoops will travel over the bridge this year to North Harbour for the "Battle of the Bridge" clash on the 24th of October.

There is nothing more exciting than the potential of a Ranfurly Shield challenge, to secure the shield in the last round-robin fixture of the season could be the recipe for a perfect lead into the playoffs.

Four out of five of our Auckland Rugby home fixtures will be afternoon times. If the afternoon window provides anything like the rugby we have seen from Super Rugby Aotearoa, then we are in for an action-filled Mitre 10 Cup.
